Hi All,
I have a 2004 TC-30 with 350 hrs and the PTO is getting harder to engage and disengage to the point I think Iam going to break the handle, it takes two hands now to yank this thing into gear. I have checked all the external linkages and oiled them best i can. It seems it is internal now..any Ideas out there, Thanks in advance.

This may sound dumb, but I had that problem engaging my 4x4. I asked Jon about it and his reply was squirt it with wd40. I'm thinking "you think I'm dumb? I already tried that."
But.. I went out and did it again and worked it and worked it. Works just fine now. I guess the second time was a charm..

Sooo, try to lube it some more. Who knows..

Now then, stay tuned for answers from guys who really know the answer. :)

I use lithium grease from a spray can. It seems to last longer and lube better. When I first started having the same problem you describe it took several spray/work/spray/work cycles but soon it just slipped into position.
