I am looking at buying this machine, it currently is not running. being a hydrostatic drive, does it have a neutral position in the transmission or do you have to loosen a hydraulic by pass valve to safely move it with out damaging the drive mechanism? thanks for any help

I am pretty familiar with the 1210. What kind of questions do you have?

I believe this model has a parts issue; especially the crank.

It helps to know a little about model chronology. The 1200 is quite a bit older than a 1220. The two models were not produced or sold in similar numbers. Parts availability for one model doesn't relate to a later model produced in larger numbers.
