    Default Help Identifying Ford 555

Hello. I am trying to figure out what I own so I can get a manual and know what I have. I was told it is a 1984 Ford 555 backhoe loader. I was able to get some information from a plate on the engine. It says:

    BSD Power Product
    Serial D 913200
    Model 333H BSD
Part (fuzzy with this - not clear) E2NN 6007
    Engine Capacity 3.3L

In the back - this is not very clear either

    Component 19-805
    Serial CB 26068

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the great forum!!

    Bob

The E2NN-6007-XX engine block part number indicates that it is a 1982 design level, where "E" = 8, 2 = 2nd year of the decade, NN = Tractor Operations. 6007 is the base part number for the block. About all that any of this information tells us is that the TLB was built after 1982.

There should be a vehicle ID plate on the underside of the hood which would show the vihicle Serial Number, Model Number and Build Date.

BSD Power product tag tells me the engine is a replacement complete, new engine not original to the TLB.

TLB data plate is on the LH side of the steering column/instrument panel cowl, IIRC. It is most definitely not on the underside of the hood on this machine.
