Im putting a clutch in a ford 1715. Im looking to see if anybody knows what the torque specs are on the bolts for the pressure plate to the flywheel? Any help would be appreciated! AB

    Howdy,

below is a scan of IT manual. It does not list 1715 there but does list 1710. Most probably you have a dual clutch set up same as below. They don't show torque rating for single clutch but for double is 18-25 ft-lbs

    Ford 1700, 2wd.
Kubota MX-4700DT, Gear transmission with LA 884 loader, Q/A and HD bucket.
60" Woods Rotary Cutter, home made (3-pt boom and a Row Hipper) ,King Kutter( 5 ft Tiller,Middle Buster,Single Row Cultivator,Carry-all, 5 ft blade, 6 ft Landscaping Rake ,30" Dirt Scoop and a 4'x4' Drag Harrow)

This is an old thread but I need the torque specs of the pressure plate and flywheel on the 1715 'single clutch'.
All I can find is a 1310 with 18lbs for pressure plate and 50lbs for flywheel

    Thanks in advance

As long as you torque equally in a criss cross fashion and about 1310 specs you should be okay. I think 1300, 1500 and 1700 have actually same dia clutch plate. I checked it once but my memory is a bit cloudy now. if the torque is a bit more and uniform you should be okay. Gooten-n-tight and uniform is good.

I have the 1715 supplement and it shows,
    Flywheel mounting bolts 43.4-51 lbs.-ft.
    Clutch mounting bolts 16.6-21 lbs.-ft.
