trailer for TC33/35 or 1510

Looking at tractors; a couple New Hollands have caught my eye. Would a TC30/33/35 or 1510/1520 fit my 7000lb trailer? It is only 16'; those might get a little long. Wondering about weight though. One place has some 1510 and 1520 harvest returns.

I have a TC33D with Loader and Backhoe w/subframe and it fit on my 7000lb GVW car carrier trailer. It fit fine with the backhoe swung to the side.

I too have a TC33D with a loader and backhoe sub frame mount and it easily fits on my 16 beaver tail 10,000lb GVW equipment trailer. I would think yours should fit also.

Robert, the bare TC35 without a loader or filled tires will weigh around 3350 lb. The loader will add another 1100 lb. The addition of a boxblade puts you at the limit of a 7000 lb trailer. Here is a picture of my TC45D when I took delivery. My trailer is 18' long. I've hauled mine with a 5' cutter on the rear and it hangs off the trailer. I think the TC35 and loader would fit just fine on a 16' trailer, but anything much more than a boxblade in the rear will make it too long and too heavy. If the rear tires are loaded, you'll be overweight without the boxblade.

EDIT: My comments relate to the Class III TC35. The Class II tractors will be lighter and shorter. I don't have definitive info for them.

I don't know the definition of the "classes" of NH tractors as I never have
seen classes referred to in any of my printed NH spec sheets. One thing
IS clear, however: The TC35 is similar in weight to the TC40 and TC45,
while the TC33 is about 800 lb lighter. Not in the same "class". (I am
always on the lookout for a TC35 project.)

Dave, I guess they don't refer to the class of tractor much anymore. The TC33 shares it's frame size with the TC29. I believe the TC21 and TC25 were class I. That would leave the TC18 as a class 0. As you suggested, the TC35/40/45 were all Class III and the TC48/55 was Class IV. I may have made some mistakes with my groupings and that shows how little it means. As long as you know the Class IIIs are a bigger frame size than Class IIs, that's all you really need to know. I believe the new TC35 may be a progression of the TC34 and is now a smaller frame size like the TC29/33/34. The new numbers and changes have me so confused that I'm afraid to comment on most issues.

EDIT: I just went to NH's new site. In the Boomer tractors, the numbers are :

2xxx
3xxx
4xxx

Those numbers correspond to the previous "class" designations. My calling them by the class is probably no longer valid. I should use the new designations when talking about new tractors. Technically, my tractor is a Class III because that's what they called them when I bought mine. However, if you can't find that in reference material, it isn't much use.

I have a TC 34 which is a class II (same as TC33) that I haul on a 16 foot tandem axle trailer, rated at 7000 lbs. With the FEL bucket resting flat on the trailer floor the rear wheels are parked in the space between the two axles. There would be room for a rear or box blade behind tractor but if you had a bush hog mounted it would overhang the rear of the trailer probably by about 3 feet. As far as weight the trailer easily carries my tractor (tractor, FEL and loaded rear tires), probably about 4000 lbs.
I have a 4 foot loading ramp made from 2x2 tubing that makes it real handy too load. As a suggestion I put a 3 ton jack stand under rear edge of trailer when I load and unload tractor. This keeps the rear wheels of my Dodge 1500 firmly on the ground.
