I have a TC45DA with supersteer.
I really hate weedeating the countless banks and ditches on the farm, as well as around the pond.
Apparently, poison ivy loves these locations, and me.
A neighbor recently got tired of watching me sweat, and used his mid-mount John Deere sickle bar mower to complete the job. He accomplished in 10 minutes what I had already spent 10 hours doing.
Long story short, it doesn't look like the arms on the back of the tractor protrude far enough past the rear tires to mount many of the sickle bar mowers (NH 451, for instance).
Has anyone had success putting a sickle bar mower on a boomer tractor? If so, what type? How difficult is this to attach?
Many thanks,
Charles
