How 'bout a roll call for the types of trailers used for those of you who have Class III's with Backhoes. Trying to decide, looking for ideas.
Thanx,
Danny

I have a 35D but no fel or BH.
I use the same trailer,20' TT flat bed
tandem axle 14k gvw w/6' ramps
pintle and 2 5/16 ball hitch
2" white oak floor,to haul my SSL w/
BH,trencher,forks and bucket or two.
Only problem is can't haul SSL and 35D at
same time.

I use a 18' inc. 2' beavertail with ramps to transport TC35d with FEL and Woods 750 Backhoe. Capacity of the trailer is 10,000 lbs. It has 2 5/16 ball mount. Have not used it to haul the machine with the backhoe yet, but have hauled the tracter/fel several times.

Never heard of a "beavertail" (on a trailer anyway). We have dovetails around here----is that the same thing?

I bought a new Butler pintle hitch tandem 20' tilt deck, 16'000 gvw , 16" load range "G" tires on 8 lug rims. Bought it new this spring...It's the same unit the equipment rental places use.....I've hauled everything from my farm tractors to forklifts weighing nearly 13,000 lbs....it's the most awesome trailer in it's size range I've ever used...I'll never use a tag with ramps again............TOM
