    1984 Ford 1700 4x4 and 1944 Farmall super H

    Default valve clearance on Shibaura 2 cylinder diesel

    I am reinstalling the repaired head on our Ford 1700, it has a Shibaura deisel (2 cylinder). I need to find out the valve clearance, if you need more info on the motor or what happened you can go to the thread labled "Ford 1700 building pressure in radiator". Thx....Lee

    Intake and exhaust are the same. .012" (.3mm)

    below you'll find the info. I have checked it with cold engine and it was right at the spec 0.3 mm. Have not checked it with engine runnig .. too much mess.

    Ford 1700, 2wd.
    Kubota MX-4700DT, Gear transmission with LA 884 loader, Q/A and HD bucket.
    60" Woods Rotary Cutter, home made (3-pt boom and a Row Hipper) ,King Kutter( 5 ft Tiller,Middle Buster,Single Row Cultivator,Carry-all, 5 ft blade, 6 ft Landscaping Rake ,30" Dirt Scoop and a 4'x4' Drag Harrow)
