I have a couple of questions first off my radiator has a small leak so I'm taking it out to get rebuilt but as I took of my grill there's 2 brackets look to be mounting brackets anyone know what this is for?
Next is it's a oil bath air cleaner capacity as I read in the specifications Is 1.9pt.
But the question is of what kind of oil?
And how would you even clean this filter it looks to be dirty at the bottom I took off is gummed up hardly any oil in it.
And my radiator was just setting in there should there be some kind of mounting brackets?
Thanks for you'll help I'm trying to restore this tractor a little at a time but it's time to start making hay as will so I'm trying to use the tractor to rack and cut with as well! And I attached a picture of the 2 brackets

so far i see a pic of the radiator and front bolster..

rad is secured from the bottom

oil in oil bath claner is the same you put in the crankcase.

remove the breather and take the media out and clean in solvent of choice..or imerse in a bucket of diesel and agitate..

clean the cup.. oil the media and fill the cup to the line.. reinstall.

my 3000 doesn't have those. it's sure not for the lamps.. here's a pic of the front bolster..

yes that is headling brackets which means u must have a english built tractor with a A or B serial number

Some one might of changed some parts I'm guessing cause the ser. # is B*831166*

yea that tractor was a imported tractor it was made in basilton england

well that answers part of it.. a basildon sn.

I bet he's got a parking brake on the left too

Maybe they should have one on the left but there's non on the tractor at all. What I was getting at with the brackets and parts changed is that the grill had no hole for lights.
