You won't find much variance in prices on New Holland parts. If you need a generic part or can make one work, then you can save some money, but most OEM parts are very expensive. Knobs, boots, switch covers, and other cosmetic related items see to be very much on the high side. If you want something that fits correctly without modification, you just have to bite the bullet and pay the price.
I recently bought some o-rings from New Holland that I'm sure could have been bought for less than $1 each if I had know a specific size or wanted to match up sizes. New Holland's price was around $2.50 for that o-ring. It sounds expensive, but I walked in the dealership and up to the parts counter with my part number. In a few minutes I was walking out with a part in my hand with full confidence it was the right part. I didn't waste time and effort trying to locate the right part. To me, that's worth $2.50 and I don't regret my purchase.
