i would never put a loader of off a 5000 on a 3000 to heavy you need a arm arm bandit or a 3400 tractor and loader a 3000 front end is to light and a 3600 never had wet brakes all drum

Not sure what model loader but it is a case. I got it from a friend who was going to take it to scape. Didn't cost much to rebuild. Never had front problems, but not making a living off this tractor either.

Oh, one more thing. I got a extra set of wheels with wider tires. Keeps the front end from rutting in the wet winters here.

they will hold a loader but if you are moving round bales of hay and other heavy stuff the front spindles have a problem with bending and the king pin wearing out faster and bending the radius rods i have had quite a few 3000 loader tractors and 4100's all having front axle trouble the 2 tractor i use personaly to move hay is 3000's with 1 arm loader and never had any trouble the 1 arm loader is what was design for this style front end and the others where made for the 3400's

Yep.. I've moved hay for years with a ford 850 with 1-arm laoder, and a 660 with 1-arm laoder. have used a naa and even a 951 with 1-arm laoder to move hay on occasion.

i think they are the best for that task but some people think there funny looking but if they work thats all that matters

yep.. I love em. they were the only loaders I had for a LOOONG time. I must have 6-7 of them now, plus a 2 post superior 'utility' loader on another 850.

real monster. i use it to lift the 2000-2400# rounds I sometimes am forced to get.

i much prefer the 700-1100 # bales though..

Yeepers 2400# bales, what size are they? how do you feed them out? thanks to krb for the great photos on the ford 3000 setup looks supurb! Points taken with the weak 3000 front end and spindles will just take it easy

i believe the 2400#'s are the 6x5

I have also gotten some 5x5 that are around 1300-2000# ( depending on moisture and tightness.

I normally prefer 4x5 in the 700-1100 # range.. I used to use 1-arm loaders for those.. but 1300# maxes them out... I go the bigger 2-post loader to get the 2000# stuff.

again.. I don't really like the larger bales.

for feeding out.. just hayrings..e tc.
