TC18 manual transmission
Is there as much changing of transmission/gear fluid on a manual transmission as there is on a hydro? I didn't know if there was a difference between the two transmissions for scheduled maintenance intervals. I would think there wouldn't be as much maintenance on a manual versus a hydro? Thank you for any information.

Looking in the book, there is no difference in the interval for transmission oil between the manual and the hydro. They both should be changed every 300 hrs.

Re: TC18 manual transmission
The main reason that modern standard transmissions need changed that often is that the entire hydraulic system is run off of the transmission fluid also.
