1963 Ford 4000 Backhoe 723 hooks.....?????

I have to say the pins are really tight. The brakes work great. The steering is very sloppy and needs adjusting bad. The previous owner removed the power steering. So it's totally manual. Also, the proof meter doesn't work, it's foggy and the connecting cable was removed. Any hints on how to adjust the steering box...................

I would do a search on internet and see if i could find a repair manual. W/o power steering would make it a bear to steer especially at slow speeds. Wonder why the prior owner took it off.

Anybody want to sell their power steering to me...??? The condition of the tractor is quite remarkable. He went over it replacing and adding nuts and bolts all over it. No rust, stored indoors. I think he just did the inexpensive fixes and maybe the pump went so it was easy and with no cost, removed it. The proof meter probably got moisture in it and started making noise so, there again, remove the cable and Voila no noise.
