TC55 EHSS Shuttle lever adjustment?

Is there and adjustment for the Shuttle lever on the TC55? I have been noticing lately that when I shift into reverse it doesn't always engage. I need to give an extra tug on the lever for it to go. Forward seems to be fine and reverse seems fine once engaged.

I have been searching and I can't find anything. There is nothing in the owners manual either.

I finally figured out what this was. I as going to by a new swtich but when I found out it was almost $400 I decided to do some troubleshooting. I found that the nut (#4 in the picture below) was loose allowing the switch (#3) to rotate and sometimes the switch didn't actually engage.

The nut is actually plastic and its round not hexagonal as the image shows.

Hopefully this will help someone else with a similar issue.

Funny, I never had that problem in the 9 years I owned mine.

According to my dealer there I an update kit for the switch. It look like it was replaced at some point. Maybe that retainer nut wasn't tightened properly. I'm just happy it was something simple. That switch is almost $400.

That was 1010 on it when I bought it. Now it has 1090.

Anyone have a the tech manual on replacing the inching cable? It looks pretty straightforward but you can never be too careful.
