Be curious to see if a sealed unit will do the trick. As others point out, the sealed units still have vents, you just can't open the battery top to look at them or otherwise get at the caps. Since lowering the electrolyte and turning the battery around so the caps are more to the tractor front, I've not had any more problems. My hood latch didn't corrode, but the radiator, battery tray area, bolts, brackets, and some of the hydraulic lines did, all replaced on NH's nickel. And that was over a year and a half ago.
