hi there, i just got a ford 1620, i knew it had these issues when i bought it and would like to know how to proceed to fix it.
so first i would like to know what may be wrong with it.
ok, i have a ford 1620 that only moves in reverse when i push the clutch down..... that is an improvement...., the tractor used to just make a grindy noise and not move at all. also something is making a horrible grinding sound when i push the pedal in. now,when i push the clutch down and the forward/reverse pedal it will go the way i am pushing the pedal. the speed you see it going is as fast as it will go. i had it in medium gear. when i push JUST on the forward/reverse pedal nothing moves. also the pto spins fast when the clutch pedal is down, if the clutch pedal is not down it spins very slowly.
