The throttle on my 2001 TC33D won't stay at the set RPM. It moves back to idle within a few seconds. Is there an adjustment on the throttle and if so how do I get to it. It looks like most of the plastic has to come off to get to that area. Thanks for any help. Willis

yes it does. Found out after adjusting our tc25 10 times, a bungee cord is the best solution. even the dealer told us it was a flaw in design.

It is just 4 bolts, 2 on the firewall and 2 below the steering column. Move the plastic shield to access the bottom of the throttle lever. Won't take 5 minutes to tighten the resistance nut on the throttle lever. I would consider putting a locknut behind the adjustment nut and adjust it on the tight side.

Thanks for the help. I fixed it yesterday. I even had a lock nut that fit the bolt, so I put it on. It was a quick job.
