The kill switch/lever on my 1925 sometimes is hard to pull up and stop the engine after periods of non-usage. I've lubricated everything, but yesterday, I pulled too hard and now have the orange handle with about 4 inches of rod and that's where the cable broke off. Is this easy to replace? Wonder if it is time to order the shop manual?

I've not done it, but I think getting a new one from NH, and replacing the old one would not be too difficult? My 1720 had electric fuel pump, I'm surprised the 25 series is manual.

Went through PL on the 29th - small world.

Picked up the new one over the lunch hour....main question is how do I access the back of the unit, so that I can remove the old jam nut and atach the new one? I'm not too concerned about attaching the linkage. By the way, replacement part was $27 and dealer had it in stock.
