TC 35 starving for fuel

Messicks has them in stock, so it is likely a common problem. The pump is insert mounted into the engine, and runs of the cam shaft, I think.

I caused my failure by running the tractor on a steep incline, which plugged the fuel filter, yet kept the tractor running(pumps shouldn't run dry). It never ran right after that.

I thought the bowl was gravity fed. Is the auxiliary fuel pump tied into the vent hose coming off the top of the fuel bowl assembly?

yep. It is the hose on the outlet of the fuel bowl, which leads to the fuel pump, and then back to the tank. If that pump isn't working, the tractor won't run going uphill.
