Would a 1210 be able to swing a Tebben 5' brush hog? There is a good deal on one locally, which is the reason I ask. From what I've read on here a 4' is a better fit. I would be cutting tall weeds and small trees, less than 1".

Just looking for real world experience from other 1200, 1210, 1100, 1110 owners. Thanks everyone.

I used a 4' with mine. Go with the 5' and if its too much, sell it and go 4'. I don't think it'll do a wheelie or nothin'.

I have an old Ford 1000 series brochure that specifies factory implements for all 1000 series tractors and it says 48" max for a 1210. It also list other implements recommended for all other 1000 series if anyone is interested. I have a 5' for my 1700 and it is all it can do to run it. Heavy cutting will cause the engine to bog and overheat.

1300# tractor and 13 PTO horsepower.....5' would be a mistake

I tried a 5' on my 1510 & it will not do an acceptable job.

I can run it just fine from my 9N but not the 1510.
