2008 New Holland Boomer T2220
My Boomer won't turn over. Battery is good, main fuses check out, seat safety has been checked. It's almost as if the starter isn't engaging. I am not sure where to go from here. I'm afraid to start with a tear down on the starter - it worked not too long ago - I'm hoping that it will be something simple? Any suggestions?

I've gotta plow my driveway! ugh.

All the safety switches need to be closed to actuate the starter solenoid that connects the battery to the starter windings. The starter is grounded through the chasis. Make sure the battery terminals are "bright and tight" and that the battery ground connection is also "bright and tight". In an emergency, and only after making sure that the tractor transmission is in neutral, you can use jumper wires from the battery to the starter directly and by pass the starter safety circuit to start the engine IF THE STARTER IS GOOD.
