Chris; Yes, I backed off the tension on the return spring. The pedals return just as before I adjusted the spring. I guess I should have read the posts you referred to when they were first posted. I think I'll call my dealer and tell them nicely what I did.
It does raise a warning flag about being aware of the pedals and what to do if it should stick suddenly.
One other thing I noticed was that the return spring was at full tension before I backed off. Wow, I'm wondering if I shouldn't have done anything after reading those other posts, especially the parts about injuring someone. Sure don't want anybody meeting you at work. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
