If it is cheap enough to do I will go for it. Otherwise I will rebuild the gasser as is.

If anyone knows more about this or has firsthand knowledge of the 530A engine I would appreciate it

Keith, I must admit, that I like you would be looking to convert. I have used both the gas and diesel Fords. The diesel Ford was a mixture of yellow and blue. I believe it was a early 70's model, no hoe. It was the best. The diesel was so nice because of its tremendous low speed power. I would often only need to rev up to move the loader up or curl the bucket faster. It also had self leveling on the loader which was slick. I used to see them in the rental yards frequently. The real neat thing about the diesel was its thriftyness in the fuel department. Not because it was costly, but eliminated constant attention to filling the tank. I will be in the neighborhood of Sacramento Ford Tractor and am going to inquire about this tractor and see if they have any parts for you in their bone yard. Rat...

P.S. must be a direct injection with such a low compression ratio.
