I can going to pick up my Northern Tool three point hitch log splitter this weekend. The splitter doesn't come with the hoses.

I am going to attach this splitter to the New Holland TC40DA. To save some time I thought I would have my NH dealer make up some hoses in advance.

Can anyone with a three point hitch splitter give me an idea what length I will need?

Just have them make up a couple of 4 footers... you'll be fine.

It will depend on how your hydraulics are currently configured. Do you have remotes ? Power beyond for a BH etc. ? I see you have a FEL. My TC-35 has FEL and power beyond for a BH. I connect my pressure line to the flow block just under the platform aft of the hydro pedals. The return line connects to the port just aft of the seat on the aft case. I bought a 12 ft. for the pressure, and a 8 footer for the return. I bought my hoses and couplings at TSC.

The Northern splitter is a beast. It works really well /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
