The manual States only use 2 weights per wheel , each weight weighing 107 lbs.
I see that PineRidge has put 3 weights on each wheel. New Holland only wants 2 weights per wheel, to reduce Stress on the Wheel/Axle Bearings. Question to PineRidge, Are the 3 weights on each wheel ALL the time? If so, How long have you run the Weights ? Have you noticed any problems from the Extra Weight? I would think that an extra 100 lbs on each wheel , would be a lot less stress than a 900 lb weight bar on the 3PH along with the Weight of the Tractor. Thanks

The dealer set the tractor up with 3 wheel weights on each side and the 3 point weight rack. However I really don't think these weights are much more than 80 pounds each, either that or I'm getting stronger moving them around.
The wheel weights are mounted 90% of the time, and have been on since the tractor was new in 2003. Haven't had any axle problems yet.

I have question for PineRidge about adding wheel weights to a NH tractor. I believe you had a link to a picture or picture of something that was put on a floor jack to lift and position them so they could be bolted on the wheels. Is that correct? I would appreciate if you could provide that link or info since I can't find it now.
I would like to put a set on weights on each of the rear wheels on a TC-45D. Thanks. |

This is a standard floor jack. The lift pad was removed (simply lifted off) and the welded solid steel rod substituted. It makes easy work of installing/removing weights and the floor jack will revert back to stock as well.

Barry I'm not sure why the material was deleted unless there was some problem with the sever itself. Guess that's a problem when you don't host your own material.
When I get a bit more time from my contractor job the material will be re-posted.
