Yesterday my son took TC40 to job site to level some rock with fel. When he got back and was going to unload the tractor from the trailer we couldn't get the 3 pt to raise. We had our BB on the 3 pt. Also when you move the remote valve lever there is no sqeal and acts like there is no presure at this point. The fel works ok. I'm thinking that the vavle in the diverter block is sticking. Has anyone ever have this problem.

There is a plug inside your loader control valve that has come out. The plug keeps the oil that is supposed to flow out the 'power beyond' port from co-mingling with oil flowing from the 'return (or 'out') port. No oil is reaching the hitch valve or rear remote valve(s); it is returning directly to sump. Remove the fitting from either the 'power beyond' port or the 'out', 'return', or 'tank' (whichever it is marked) port and find the Allen headed tapered thread plug floating around. Install it in its threaded bore and reinstall the fittings. Sorry I don't remember which port this plug is under, but it is one of the two. Don't ask me how long it took me to figure this out the first time I had to troubleshoot these symptoms.

I got the 3 point on a B7100 stuck in the up position once by having a backblade on when I approached a hill. The blade grounded out on a log as I went up, forcing it higher than normal. I asked here about it and the opinion was that it might be a valve that stuck due to the extra high pressure. I just waited a few days as suggested, and it worked fine.

I don't know that your problem will respond in a similar manner or not. It seems the previous poster has some experience with it on a machine like yours, but unless you are in a hurry to use it, you have nothing to lose by letting it sit a couple days before taking it apart.

There is a turn knob that adjusts the speed of the 3pt lift.. turn it in the direction of the rabbit.

Do you have rear remotes? If a rear remote lever is out of central position (and there is no return flow circuit attached to the remotes) it will stop the 3PT hitch from rising.

I haven't had the time to check out RickB reply. I did try adjusting the center knob with no effect. This knob controls the speed at which the 3 pt drops. Mine problem is that the 3 pt will not raise up at all. The remote is in the center. When you move it forward or backward there is no pressure there. I think RickB is right. I'm not getting any oil back rear spool valve and 3 pt valve.

Does anyone know if I can get a schematic diagram of the hydraulic circuit on line?

Thanks

I talked with the service manager at my dealer today. He was stumped with this problem. I taking my tractor in to them Sat. so they can take a look at it. I'll follow up when they find the problem.
