John Deere Models 60 & X324
Hi, my real name is Robert, but you can call me Bob.
Although I lost my 25 acre hobby farm in the divorce, I still have my beloved
John Deere Model 60.
In addition to the "60", I have a JD Model X324 (4 wheel steer) lawn tractor.
I enjoy making things. Current projects include a three point hitch, box blade, front scoop, lawn aerator and steel lugged wheels for the lawn tractor.
My latest project is a trailer type backhoe. I purchased the plans for it on line. I had fun all summer building it and now am having a blast using it !
I have attached some photos if you're interested.
I look forward to searching all of the interesting threads and viewing your photos.

Regards, Bob

Hello John,

Thanks!

Yes, the bucket on the lawn tractor is made mostly from 1/8" x 12" plate

and 1/4 x 2" square tubing. :)
