Hello,
Names Jim. I have a small 52 acres in the Blue Mountains in Washington (Wife named it Nine Trees Farm but I will admit I like it too ) right outside of Walla Walla, WA. I grew up in this area and it feels like coming home. I am an officer in the US Army out of Ft. Lewis, WA (14 years enlisted, 6+ years officer) and have about 20 in service. Spent a couple tours overseas and a couple more on the way. I retire from service in three years and will be farming, haying, raising beef, horse, and kids.
My baling outfit is a 1959 Case 410B 45 hp with 37 PTO and with that I run the mower (Dearborn 14-15 6' sickle bar), rake (Allis Chalmers 6 wheel slant rake ground driven) and IH 47 square baler (I hope). I also have a Kubota 2660 with FEL, spreader, box scraper, and rear blade for care of the spread. But I love the old tired iron and love to get it back to shape:thumbsup:.
Nice to meet you all.
Jim
