Permission to come aboard, sir...
I've been "lurking" here for the past few days and decided it was high time to come aboard formally. I own a John Deere GT 225 with a 42C deck... using it to mow slightly over 2 acres... some flat and some hilly. My trusty GT is approaching her 11th year and still chuggin' along. She needs a new seat and a complete new hood/grill assembly... the latter from a tornado over a year past that brought a tree top down upon her. I'm looking at adding something bigger within the next month or two... either a JD X700 series or possibly a subcompact tractor. No doubt I'm at the right place to gain valuable insight that will assist me in my decision making.
