Lowell Starr ole time farmer, now retired
Working on neighbors JD 950 Tractor--needs brakes: do the brakes run in oil, and it not, it would seem to be a a fairly simple job ?? Thanks

In researching your make and model, it appears that the brakes on the JD950 are the differential mechanical expanding shoe - dry brakes. BTW, Welcome aboard.
