Tractor
In the market
So we have 10 acres that I'm thinking of putting into hay production. This would be a hobby for the most part. I want to sell the first cut to pay for fuel and some towards the equipment, but the second cut would be donated to the local horse rescue.

I'm just beginning my search for a tractor and tools. The property is on a hill and I'll be using the tractor for pushing snow, grading the 3/4 mile road to the main road, and of course soil preparation, planting and harvesting.

I'm thinking a Mahindra or maybe New Holland seem to be the best bang for the buck. As for haying, I'll probably see what I can find used in the area and be prepared to do a little work on. Not too much I hope.

Since I'm new to this, I'm open to suggestions and comments.

Thanks,
JTM
