    Default chatham guy

    Hello, I live in Chatham County, NC. Have approx. 25 acres, garden extensively and raise chickens for meat and eggs. Currently have a couple of inches of sleet and ice on the ground...yuck!

    Grew up in Chatham on the rocky river. Spent my summers running tractors around the farm, among other activities that boys with lots of land, river, ponds can do. I farm full time in the mountains of western NC now - crop and livestock - but have very fond memories of my boyhood in Chatham county. Hope the ice does not damage much, we escaped any real problems up here.
