Tractor
YM2000
Hi, I joined because I just purchased a small tractor from a co-worker.

It is a Yanmar 2000 in pretty good shape. Cranks and runs great.

I need a boot for the shifter, the one on the tractor is torn and I don't want to get water in the transmission.

This brings up a question: Does this tractor "share" fluid between transmission and hydraulic system like others I have seen?

If so, should I drain the fluid and/or change a filter prior to using?

Thanks

:welcome: from S/W Ohio
anything I buy used gets all fluids changed ASAP
I feel it's a cheep insurance policy to know what is in it
also looking at what comes out of it might point ya to problems

Hello everyone,

I just joined this site and am looking forward to the gathering and sharing of information. We have been involved with the growing of organic cereal grains for our own use and have done a lot of work on machinery suited for small production situations.

I recently purchase a single bundle threshing machine which has cylinder and concave suited for grass seed and would like to put in a spike tooth cylinder and concave suited for cereals. Does anyone out there have a similar machine with this type cylinder and concave that would be willing to send me a picture of this arrangement? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot.
Kindest regards,
