Hello,
My name is Joe! I've owned and tinkered with about army thing that has a motor.
It has 1200 hrs on the motor.
The tractor runs and operates perfectly. I also have a model 70 front end loader and model 7 backhoe.
Today I was changing the hydro oil on my JD855 4WD tractor. When I removed the housing for the internal filter that is in the rear end of the tractor, below the PtO, I found a small, 3/4" square piece of cast aluminum about 1/8" thick in the bottom below the wire mesh filter. I don't know where this broke away from and wonder what I should do next. I did use a bore scope and looked inside to see if I could find where it came from but no luck
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
