I asked a similar question to the following a while back and don't think anyone responded. The Soviet era Belarus tractors that I've seen have the seats very high and it seems that this would greatly increase visability for loader work. Can you tell me whether that's the reason for the high seats?

You are right that the seats are quite high as it would aid visiblity, Used to create comfortable conditions for the driver and keep vibrations down as he/she steers the tractor on the move.

Thank you for confirming what I suspected. I'm considering rasing the seat on my MF so I won't have to stand up to see the ends of the forks.
