Tractor
Yanmar/Ym147d
Hello all,
My name is Ken, I'm from upstate N.Y. (Syracuse area). I purchased my 1984 ym147d rite b4 winter & didnt have the time to go thru it very well before the snow flew. Now that winters over im finally starting to get around to getting to know my tractor better & will probably be calling on some help/advice from those of you who can help. Ill also be looking for items/implements for use with this if they can still be found. Looking forward to getting to learn new things here.

To the TBN forum Ken. We are glad that you joined.

Congrats on a very nice looking tractor. How many hours on it? Looks like you moved some snow with it this winter.

Hey Ken. I don't see any cup holders for the beverage sitting on the fender. Maybe they'll move this in the Yanmar section for you.

Its showing 260, & yes, we get plenty of that lake effect snow here so this winter its moved a ton of snow.

If they can move this to the yanmar section that would be great. Ill make sure to place a cup holder somewhere, but first want to get my hydraulics plumbed in & locate the controls. Of course, that project will have to wait till i can figure out getting a cab of some sort on it too. Its a work in progress you could say. This tractor was purchased primarily for winter snow removal duties so theres lots i have to do to get it where i want. Id love to find a front blower set up & cab for it if they were made for these . Thanks again Bill, for suggesting to get registered here & get to know the fellow yanmar guys.

Some attachments that we're available for 147. If you look closely at the first photo it shows a bracket on the left side standing up for the blower chute. I see yours has it?

Yes, mine does have that. I figured it was for that but wasnt 100% sure. Nice to know. Now if i can just locate & buy the front snowblower. The rear blower i have does a great job, but i have a bad back & turning around constantly when blowing snow isnt the best for it. A front blower would be nicer to have. Thanks for the pics.
