Any way of getting a list of the ID numbers of the forums on TBN?

Reason for asking is that I'd like to set up a search routine to get new posts in several of the forums, such as:

where the n1,..., etc., are the numbers of the forums of interest. I had one set up, but recently had to rebuild my machine and the search routine parameters didn't survive the backup and restore. The only forum number that survived was the number for the "Yanmar" forum.

It used to be that the forum numbers were visible in the URL when you'd mouseover the forum name, but now forum names are shown, and names don't seem work in this search string syntax. If there is another syntax for search strings that does use forum names, that would be just as satisfactory for my purpose as using the forum numbers.

What internet browser are you using? I have been using Mozilla Firefox for years and when I mouse over a thread link I still see the post number in the web address at the bottom left of my screen.

Are you familiar with Boolean internet search commands? Using Boolean commands in a search engine you can sellect to search only in TBN or let's say TBN/oils fuels and lubricants forum. It's amazing how much you can fine tune a search with Boolean commands. Might make what your looking for easier to find. Do a little surfing on this site and it will explain the Boolean search commands and how to use them. Power Searching For Anyone - Search Engine Watch (SEW)

Using IE7.

Thread and post numbers show up with mouseovers, but the forum ID numbers don't seem to be displayed.

For example, a mouseover on the Yanmar forum name in the main forum index displays in the address bar (bottom left)

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/yanmar

On other vBulletin forums that I frequent the display would be:

http://forumURL/forumdisplay.php?f=#

where # is the forum ID number, and as I recall, is the way they were displayed here at one time. I'll concede that my rememberer may be missing on a few cylinders but that's the way I remember it.

What I'm trying to do is set up a search string as a URL shortcut on my desktop that will return all the new posts in a particular forum since my last visit. For example, the following URL search string, used as an Internet Shortcut:

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew&include=45

opens a search results window on TBN that returns everything that has been posted to the Yanmar forum since the last visit to the forum. I'd like to add the numbers for the other forums of interest to the include list. I may wind up having to work through the possible numbers in a trial and error mode to find those of interest, but was hoping someone could point to an identification scheme that didn't require that.

Which specific forums do you want the IDs for? It would be quicker to give you those rather than the entire list (which I can do when I get a moment, but that won't be until the weekend).

Thanks, Muhammad, but I got them figured out.
