I had the iPad app and it lost functionality after it updated. I connect via Safari on the iPad rather than the app.

If your speaking of the new Kindle fire. I understand it has to be rooted in order to run Android apps other than the media apps they want you to use. It would be like jailbraking the iOS. Pity it won't run Google apps. But that's a marketing tactic. -kid

The new Google pad looks like the way to go. I'm just a bit Leary though. Google knows more about us than the CIA already.

Here is an up date there is a way to add apps (I've done 2 so so far) on kindle fire hd.

You have to have android phone or have source for the app (xxxx.APK file)you want.
and a computer and cables to move the files from phone to kindle

Down load es file explore app to the phone and to kindle fire.

link to es file explorer

down load the app you want to phone and make sure it works.

On phone go in to es file explorer
menu key
app manager
user apps

select app you want to move to fire (it will be highlighted)
on soft keys at bottom select back up

Then connect computer to phone navigate to backups on phone.

Copy file to your computer (remember were you put it)

Unhook phone hook up kindle

Go to file es file explorer and back up any app the same as on phone
(this will make back up directory's)

On computer navigate to app that you saved to it and copy and paste it to back up folder on

Unhook kindle

On kindle go to es file explorer and navigate to backup/apps and click on app file you just put there it should pop up install or re install, say ok and let it install

log in to TBN app and give it a whirl!

Is there a way to get the .apk file without an android phone? I have a kindle fire but no other android devices.
