They are all over TBN and all seem to have been created at about the same time. Comments among others are..."nice pic's", "post more pictures", "well none", "nice job"...etc.

Any clue where these are going or their purpose? Kinda feel like the guy on Alien at the dinner table scene.....sumptin is crawling around inside here.

Sometimes one liners are just trying to build postcount, particularly if its a new account.

Multiple reasons, usually not "good" ones. Sometimes its to be able to access a specific part of a website only open to regular posters, like Classifieds or Politics etc. Sometimes its to build up a "burner" profile for later use. Etc. etc.

Mods and admin can see IPs, so they know if the poster is an Alt. Im not sure TBN;s policy on Alts, but I dont like them, and personally feel it should be an Autoban for posting under an Alt.

Nothing can be done without examples. If a post looks suspicious, push the Report Post button and give a reason.

You know that little button could use some identifier. I had asked once before about the location but forgot and just now it took several minutes of looking to find that little hidden button. A bit larger and not so greyed out would even work.

Duplicate usernames aren't allowed and they are banned when found.
