If you have a problem with one website you don't reinstall the operating system.

Often TBN pages are painfully slow to load, yet a speed test seems to indicate a reasonable connection. Is this the site, or something inbetween?

Lately, I cannot upload pics from my pc. Everything seems to show normal progress, but in the end, nothing. No error message either.

That is what happens now when the pictures are too large. They changed something and didn't tell us.

Resize them to about 800x600 or less and try it.

Page loading has been exceedingly slow for me also as of late...

I have had the same issues uploading photos too and I do post a lot of photos.

Used to be one of the quickest loading sites I frequent.

Thanks Xfaxman, that did it as far as the pics. I never had to resize them before however, and at 800x600 the pic quality aint great. I personally love examining pictures beyond their main focus.

Geez sixdogs hopefully you can keep up with Harbor Freight tools threads now! :D

That is true and it will take a while. I'll never catch up with the Good Morning thread.

I'm not that computer smart. I had no idea.

No, of course not! You take it outside and use it for target practice!

Actually, I did practically go that berserk, shutting down applications (despite the warnings) when I was having issues. Now with no more XP support, I can't fix the damage I did and my original XP disk is of no use since it has no updates!

Actually, there are no NEW XP updates. You can still download existing ones.

So I can go to Microsoft and reload the latest XP into my PC? They still offer that support? I tried something like that today and it (the site) would not allow me to proceed. I thought that was because support is no longer being offered on XP and 10.

Thanks

You would install from your old CD, then run Windows Update to update things. I would manually download Service Pack 3 and install it, then run Windows Update.
