This is the thread for the official TractorByNet.com 500,000th post contest! To celebrate our greatest milestone yet, we're putting on a contest open to all members: The 500k Post Contest
How it Works
The person who guesses closest to the time of the 500,000th post, is the winner. One runner-up (second) will also be recognized.
The Prizes
While we consider this contest to me more for fun than the prize, the winner will receive a TractorByNet.com t-shirt and hat.
The runner up will receive a TractorByNet.com t-shirt!
How to Enter
To enter, simply reply to this thread with your date/time guess. Remember, be specific!
For example: January 1, 2005, 5:15PM
All times will be EST. If you live in California and guess 5:15PM, your entry is for 5:15PM EST.
<font color="blue">Entries will be accepted from now through Thursday, September 16th, 2004 only!</font>
You may not guess the exact same date/time as somebody who has entered before you.
Announcement of Winners
The winners will be announced within 12 hours of the 500,000th post right here in the News/Feedback forum.
The Rules
- You must be a registered TractorByNet.com member.
- One entry per household.
- You may not post the 500,000th message yourself. If you are the poster of the 500,000th post, your entry will be disqualified.
- Must not have won any other TBN contests/giveaways in the past six months.
- The winning guesses may be over or under the actual posting time.
- A total of one (1) winner and one (1) runner-up will be awarded.
- The prizes carry no cash value and may not be reassigned or used for credit on TractorByNet.com purchases.
- TractorByNet.com will be the only and official party to decide which post is the 500,000th, and who the winners are.
To recap:
1) Guess the date/time of the 500,000th post without guessing the same time as somebody who entered before you.
2) Post your guess by Thursday, September 16th, 2004!
3) Wait for 500k to roll around.
