Muhammad,
I had uploaded a small image file to one of my posts. If I click on the attachment link, the image comes up and right-clicking and selecting "copy image address" provides the following:
http://www.tractorbynet.com/forumfiles/8-84881-runtime.jpeg
Pasting this into the address line of the browser window brings up the correct photo. However, when I try to use this link within a post between the image tages, I end up with this:
<IMG SRC="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forumfiles/8-84881-runtime.jpeg[/image]
Is there a delay between uploading an image before it can be used with the image tags, or am I just doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Hoss

The above is the part that is being changed in the post. You'll also notice that everything after the photo was cut off. It also did something different with my signature image. It now shows up from the part I pasted above, but you can see what the code is changed to by looking at the bottom of this post.

It needs to be a .jpg file, not .jpeg...

You need to use the [image] tag, not HTML... so put the URL without spaces between image and /image in brackets.

O.K., so let's try this.

Muhammad,
I wasn't using HTML. I was placing the url between the image tags as always. The HTML code was being created by your system. The difference between .jpeg and .jpg was the solution. I hadn't even noticed that I had saved as a .jpeg.

Thanks,
Hoss
