Finally
ordered in late February, arrived via truck (in less than 3 days from Pennsylvania) today.
Had to take it off the flatbed, so that was exciting.
Driven it back and forth to the dealer to pick up my implements and a couple times around.
First time I"d ever driven it (or any TN) was off the flatbed onto my trailer, then onto the ground.
This is one sweet tractor
It's going to get used a lot sunday and monday so I'll come back with more impressions, but right now, very excited.
huge pictures below, sorry for the size.
but it's been a really long month and i'm tired and there's only 3 more days of work until tuesday. :p

Wow those are some tiny tires. No wonder you can fit thru an 8' tall door. What size are those? I do not recall ever seeing a TN with that small a tire setup.

Congrats on getting the TN though, it is a good machine and I am sure you will enjoy it.

Conrgats it makes it worth the wait .The wheel weight's and front weight's to.
Nice rig. I noticed the hyraulic lines for the fel look a little low to the ground in the first pic . What's the weight on that rig?

I think i would mow all night with that tractor why wait till tomarrow :D

I read 16.9 x 24 on the sidewalls on the rears. I've seen this size in R1 configuration on the older Ford 4xx0 SU's and some 3xx0's, although 14.9 x 28 were more commonly used.

I am aware that you have R4's, I was just stating that 16.9x24 is not uncommon on R1's. For that matter, most TLB's around my area have the 16.9x24 industrial rears.

i cant believe those tires. I never seen anything like it. Are they stock tires for the TN? Those seem small to me. If they are R4 then they sure are small. This is what an R4 usually looks like.

Common on TN's are R1 16.9X 30 or 16.0x28 R1's. I have 16.9x30's on mine and they almost scrape the fenders.

I know, I have 16.9x30's on mine and my friend has 28's on his. I have never seen a TN up here with 24" rears. Heck my front tires are 24" but I guess if they suit the job then it makes sense. The TN-F series runs small tires and a recessed cab to stay low to the ground.

Those Industrials sure do have a sporty look to them:)

Very nice ride!! Tell me, how does the air conditioner work? Always wanted a cab for my TN65 when the weather got hot.

Enjoy it!!!

Brian, I've noticed the tires and FEL hoses hanging low, but I can't take my eyes off those curl cylinders on that 32LA loader in the first picture. They are huge! I think you are gonna love this setup. It sure makes that TN compact, but there's a lot of power in that compact package. Very nice!

Mike

stock tires
ordered from the factory.
16.9x24
i looked in the owners manual (really, i had to read teh whole thing, man this can do some cool things)
those are the ONLY option for R4 tires on the TN60/70/75. Lots more options and sizes in R1's

I get to use it all day today, so I'll let you know.

I do not have a cab. I have a TN70A. My question is how much airflow can you get to keep the cab cool? Or do you really need the AC when the sun is shining? Or will natural ventilation work? Do the windows open sufficiently to allow enough air to circulate without the use of AC?
Bob

Bob, the TN ac system will keep you plenty cold to the point it will frost the windows. If you don't want to use the AC system the rear window opens up just fine but with the doors on I don't think you will get much air flow.

The TN-FA has a nice setup as you can open the front and rear windows to get plenty of air flow if you want to go that route.

I know at one time 16.9x28 R4's were available on the T75 FWD. I don't know if that's still the case. They would have to increase the fronts to 12.5x20; difference about $200.

Lots of luck with the tractor. You should be OK as long as there's enough ground clearance for your jobs.

After putting a good 11 hours on it today (yes, really), pulling an 8' rotary cutter (which is too small for it, but it's hard to transport anything else)

anyway
short review
THIS THING IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!1 (and yes, the A/C rocks)
I was literally on this thing for 11 hours, didn't even stop to wee, and i'm really ok, worn out and tired, but not exhausted like on a platform. I'm also not filthy like the wife (who had to run the other mower, cuz well, she hits stuff  )

Amazing power, just rocks right on thru everything, doesn't turn as well as the smaller tractor (duh), although if you use the brakes (which took me a couple hours to remember) it's much better.

Rides nice, not too big, good controls and the cab is sweet

yeah, I'm excited.
I paid back 1/40th of it today and tomorrow, we're getting there. :)

Hey LoneCowboy, nice website you got! I see you have picture of the new tractor already on there:) Does that aerator kind of pick up the sod some leaving it chunky looking? My cousin has one like that on the golf course and kind of chunks it up. I want to aerate my horse pastures which they have compacted quite a bit and want to leave them looking good still and i have somewhat rocky ground underneath. I have A chain harrow but it really doesnt loosen it up like it needs.
