HAVE SHOT AT BUYING A 1925 WITH 7308 FEL AND BACKHOE/1900 HRS USED IN DIGGING FOUNDATIONS BY LOCAL CONTRACTOR/PRETTY GOOD SHAPE,HAVE BORROWED IT TWICE ALREADY AND WORKS GREAT/ $ $10,500 / I JUST HATE TO SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY AND POSSIBLY 18 MTHS 2YRS WILL BE FINISHED WITH NEED OF THAT TRACTOR/ SUGGESTIONS ?

Sounds like a good price if it is not beat.
You can always sell it later on. Also.. if you need a TLB.. you could look for a ford 3/4/5 industrial series TLB and probably get a good used one that isn't quite a beater.. but works in the 6500$ range.. Your choice. Soundguy |

I have looked at several ford-NH 1920 tractors with 1200-1700 hrs. in my area recently ( I 'm not sure what all the differences are between a 1920 and a 1925, I think the 1920 is a 4cyl 32 hp gear drive w/ shuttle and 1925 is 3cyl 32hp hydro) but a good 1920 with FEL goes for $10k-$11K so I would think that a 1925 with backhoe at $10,500 would be a pretty good deal since a ratty used hoe for a compact around here seems to start at about $2500...if you can find one.

Nh 1920 4 cyl 32/29 eng/pto hp came in either a 12x12 shuttle.. or a 12x4 manual column shifter. Rear 3pt lift capacity of 2185# and could be had as tranny or live pto via 2-stage clutch ( optional)
1925 3 cyl, 32/29 eng/pto hp .. Hydro tranny., rear lift capacity of 1920# Soundguy |
