Default Pricing on 918HFM NH Flail Mower

Anyone know what a good price would be for a 2003 New Holland model
918HFM? Allegedly, it only saw 5 acres of mowing before it was put away in a barn for storage.

I recently bought a new one for about $3,400 as I recall. If it was only used once and stored out of the weather it is probably in almost new condition. No warranty so anything less than $3,000 should be OK I think

Moonstruck,

That is exactly what they want (3K). Its a dealer, so I'm not sure how much wiggle room they may have. Thanks for the info.

Overall, how do you like the unit?

Paul,

I like it a lot. I had the 918L before and it was a real mistake. It did not cut well and when I hit big rip-rap rock one day it bent the staft so bad it was gonna cost over $1,500 in parts alone to fix it so I decided to trash it and bought the 918H. MUCH better cut and much heavier, stronger, etc.

I think you will like it.

Excellent...thanks for the info. I'll try and repost later this week to let you know how things work out.
