Hi 1Bush2Hog

I sent a private post, but not sure whether it got through ...

I just purchased a 1000hr TN75DA, and would like to get on top of the maintenance aspects immediately ... if you have other maintenance info in a collected form, based on the experience of others, I'd love to have it, provided it was easy for you to send ... !

Thanks

John

At least its wrong in only one place instead of 2.

Well, I purchased the filters and oils and replaced them all with no issues. Engine oil and hydraulic filters as well as fuel filter. I also changed the hydraulic and engine oil. I was a bit concerned about the fuel filter as the manual indicates you need to bleed the injector lines and I couldn't get a tool on two of them. But, I primed her and she fired right up.

I think I may still need to take her in for a tune up as she smokes a bit when there's no load on the engine (like going downhill). I just added an additive to the fuel as recommended by the dealer (due to low sulphur fuel). I hoped that would make a difference but I still get a puff of smoke every now and then.

Thanks for all your help.

My fuel filter change on my TN70A was done with no need to bleed. Guess we are lucky?

A puff of smoke? Why worry?
