Can anyone give me the specs for the bucket cylinder on a Ford 7108 front end loader?
I was able to successfully get the 2 lift cylinders rebuilt, and they're solid, but the bucket cylinders are just plain wore out (scored, etc), and still leak way too much fluid. My local dealer is listing a replacement cylinder at just over $300 each, but I was sorta hoping to find something surplus that might work. |

That price for new cylinders from the dealer that are guaranteed to bolt on and not give a problem? You may get real lucky with an aftermarket cylinder, but you need your measurements. Bore, stroke, pin size and style, pin center to center closed and opened, port size, style, and angle. There's a lot to consider. You may find a cylinder close if you can live with a little more/less travel or power.
