I have a 2000 model year TC35D with 300hrs that had the PTO break and fill the case with broken parts I bought this tractor new from a dealer.
I understand that New Holland had issued a "campaign"/recall that was supposed to prevent this from happening. I would like any info at all on that recall. I would like to know when that recall was issued. The dealer that this was purchased from is no longer in business. New Holland has agreed to pay for the replacement parts but will not pay for the labor ($2000+) Has anyone had similar problems? Did New Holland pay for the repairs? Does anyone have a copy of that recall notice? Please help. Any info at all would be appreciated. Thank You JDDan |

would I need to check for this on a tractor manufactured in 06? In other words would my tractor need the recall repairs?
Thanks, Chris

Your 2006 was made after the recall so it would not be involved.
16. PTO Brake problems for serial numbers after G524944 to approximately G604974, recall campaign 000250. See New Holland Safety Recall.
