Default TC21 casualty

I had a major casualty this morning on my TC21. I was clearing my fence line and I stopped to cut some brush with my chain saw and noticed a puddle of oil. I went back and checked the tractor to find a major leak coming from the housing just forward of the mid-mount pto. I knew it wasn't good at that point and had my neighbor help pull it out of the pasture. After cleaning it up a bit, I found a major crack in the housing. All fluid had drained in about a half hour. The dealer came and picked it up this afternoon, now just waiting for the call to see how it will all work out. Hopefully will be warranty repair.

From the photo, it may have been leaking for a while.

No, it had not leaked at all before. It kind of spewed everywhere after this. I wiped the crack area down just before the photo. Also, I forgot to post earlier 227 hours on the clock.

Good luck; I would think it it is a warranty issue. Hope your dealer is going to work with you.

It is a 2005 model. I bought it new in August of 2006.

Pulling brush that I was clearing. Anything over 3 inches was cut by saw and pulled out with the loader. Smaller stuff was popped out with loader and toothbar.
