Default TC 2 Spool Remote Control Valve Knob

So here I was yesterday in the middle of my raised stone flowerbed project with a rather large sized rock in the bucket when the FEL control knob came off in my hand which kind of immobilized the project and . The problem area is where the knob attaches to (screws into) the adaptor plate which is made of cast aluminum and very cheap aluminum at that. I kind of "jimmy rigged" a repair using a 7/16" - 20 fine thread locking nut. I contacted Messick Equipment - New Holland - Kubota - Case IH - Tractor Parts, Sales & Service who immediately sent me a parts diagram via e-mail. Today I will find out the cost of replacement. I might just go out and buy some loctite for my repair . Jay
My thanks to Messicks for their responsiveness and support.

Jay, are you talking about the lower end of the joystick where it screws into the valve and has a locking jamnut? Or, are you talking about the top end going into the knob? Did the joystick break or the threads in the adapter let go? I'm just not sure how your fix worked with the 7/16 locking nut and why you had to use it.

My TC33DA had a similar malfunction last week while shredding; the jamnut at the bottom backed off, allowing the joystick to get loose. Trying to use it produced some interesting results!
A little locktite, and tightening the jam nut got everything back to normal.

Did you really mean to say, "Route with days"? That's what your signature translates to in Spanish. The traditional saying is, "Vaya con Dios," and means, "Go with God." Is that what you meant?
